pgEdge, Inc., and its subsidiaries (collectively referred to as “pgEdge,” “our,” “us,” and “we”), understand that you care about how we collect, use, and share information when you interact with our websites, events, contests and surveys, social media sites and handles, email, support services, and online services (our “Services”), and we value the trust you place in us. This Privacy Policy applies when you interact with us through our Services. It also applies anywhere it is linked. It does not apply to non-pgEdge websites, mobile applications, and events that may link to the Services or be linked to or from the Services, including local events organized and hosted by third parties. Information We Process on Behalf of Customers When They Use the pgEdge Cloud

When you or your authorized users access the pgEdge Cloud, you provide us with data that we store and process on your behalf (“Customer Data”). We act as a data processor or service provider for Customer Data. This means that we process Customer Data solely for the purpose of providing the pgEdge Cloud and at the direction of our customers in accordance with their instructions and the applicable services agreement. We are not responsible for the data privacy or security practices of our customers, which may differ from those explained in our Privacy Policy.

How and What Information We Collect 

We collect and store the below categories of personal information about you when you interact with our Services. We also work with service providers and other marketing or advertising providers to collect information about you, and may combine this information with information that we collect directly from you.

  • Contact Information: Your name, address, phone number, email address, telephone number. This may include your personal and business contact information.

  • Communications: Your messages, emails, or other communications with us, such as when you send us business inquiries. Depending on how you interact with us, this may also include recordings of your telephone conversations with us, such as if you call us for customer service purposes.

  • Professional Information: Your company, job title, industry affiliations, and other similar information.

  • Account credentials: Your username and password if you choose to create an account with us.

  • Information We Collect Automatically

  • When you interact with the Services, certain information about your use of our Services is collected automatically. This includes:

  • Identifiers: This includes your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device ID, and cookie IDs.

  • Internet and Website Activity: This includes details of your visits to our site and information generated in the course of the use of our Services, such as  the timing, frequency, and pattern of use,   date and time stamps, clickstream data, weblogs, other communication data, and how you interact with the Services, including the resources that you access on our site and if you open or engage with our marketing communications, such as our emails. This also includes the website you visited before coming to our site and the websites you went to after leaving our site.

  • Network Activity: This includes details regarding the device you use to access our Services, including your operating system, and browser type.

Much of the above information is collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies, as well as through your web browser or device. pgEdge relies on third parties to provide many features of our sites and Services using data about your use of our and other sites, and how you interact with our emails.

We currently do not take steps to respond to browsers’ “Do Not Track” signals, however you may still have choices to manage third-party cookies. How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We may use and disclose the information we collect from you for the following purposes:

We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of the Services or the networks, systems, servers, devices, and databases we operate or that are operated on our behalf, so please be aware that there is an inherent risk in transmitting information over the internet.

How We Share Your Information

  • Service Providers: We engage vendors to perform certain functions on our behalf such as: billing and collection providers; auditing and accounting firms; professional services consultants; providers of analytics services; security vendors; employment recruiters, and IT vendors.

  • Social Media Platforms: Where you choose to interact with us through social media, your interaction with these programs typically allows the social media company to collect some information about you through digital cookies and other tracking mechanisms that they place on your device. In some cases, the social media company may recognize you through its digital cookies even when you do not interact with their application.   • Companies involved in advertising: We work with companies that assist us in advertising about our Services to others who may be interested in the Services. These companies may use tracking technologies on our website to collect or receive information over time and across different websites or platforms, including this site and the Services and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and provide you with targeted ads. 

  • Corporate Affiliates: We share personal information with our subsidiary companies.

  • Business Partners: We may work with other companies to provide you with certain product or service offerings.

If you use our Services outside of the United States, you understand that we may collect, process, and store your information in the U.S. and other countries. Customer Testimonials

We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personal information. We obtain the customer's consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at [email protected].

Sharing of Aggregated Data

We may collect, use, or share aggregated or de-identified data at our discretion, including with marketing agencies, media agencies, and analytics providers.

Children Under Age 16

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 16 or knowingly allow such persons to register for an account or event. If you are under 16, please do not attempt to send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 16 may provide any personal information to or on the Service. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 16, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Change of Ownership or Corporate Organization

We cannot promise that an acquiring party or the merged entity will have the same privacy practices or treat your information the same as described in this Privacy Policy.

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future marketing emails, you can click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email newsletter or marketing communication, or separately email us at [email protected].  Please note that we will continue to send you transactional emails to service your specific account or communicate with you about your use of the Services.

Your Privacy Rights Under California’s Shine the Light Law

Under California’s Shine the Light Law, you have the right to request information from us regarding how we may share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Under California’s Shine the Light Law, you have the right to send us a request at the designated email address listed below to receive the following information:

  • the categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year;

  • the names and addresses of the third parties that received the information; and

  • if the nature of the third party’s business cannot be determined from their name, examples of the products or services marketed.

  • Special Information for Nevada Residents

Residents of the State of Nevada have the right to opt out of the sale of certain pieces of their information to other companies who will sell or license their information to others. At this time, pgEdge does not engage in such sales.
